TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A company that has been a key part of the local restaurant scene for decades is trying a new business model. Bennett Enterprises is about to open a different type of restaurant in Toledo.

The company owns and operates 10 Frisch’s Big Boy and 7 Ralphie’s restaurants in northwest Ohio. Now they are taking the best of both of them to give you a new option when it comes to getting a meal.

After the Frisch’s on Secor closes in 2019 and Ralphie’s on Monroe in 2020, the management team came up with the idea of putting them together in a location not far from these two locations.

“We take the best-selling items from both menus and only offer them to take away and deliver,” said Mary Beth Hammond, director of marketing at Bennett Enterprises. “We expect this to be a great success, and if it does, we will be opening more locations like this one in northwest Ohio. This is an exciting new adventure for us. “

The new restaurant is on Monroe Street between Laskey and Talmadge.

It is expected to open sometime in the spring.
