TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The city of Toledo is preparing for summer. Currently, the Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department is hiring to fill the municipal pools.
The city of Toledo operates 6 pools and plans are underway for the summer staple opening this summer. All city pools were closed last year due to COVID-19.
The city is looking for lifeguards, cashiers, assistants and pool managers. The jobs cost between $ 10 and $ 15 an hour.
Lifeguards receive a free certification before starting work and are responsible for maintaining order in the pool areas, providing first aid, enforcing pool rules, cleaning the pool and ensuring safety.
