David J. “Dave” Crincic, Youngstown, Ohio

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – David J. “Dave” Crincic, 65, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday evening, May 3, 2021, of natural causes.

Dave was born in Youngstown on May 12, 1955, to Joseph and Helen Petro Crincic.

He grew up in Austintown, graduated from Fitch High School in 1973 and lived in the area for a lifetime.

Mr. Crincic worked for Indelex / Easco Aluminum in Girard and then for Extrudex Aluminum in North Jackson and retired in 2018

He was a civic band and amateur radio enthusiast. His CB call sign was “Old Dirt” and he operated his amateur radio under the call sign KB8JHB. Dave enjoyed flea markets, flea markets, swap exchanges, and auto shows, and he enjoyed restoring his Chevy Stepside pickup.

The family was very important to Dave and he loved spending time with them. He especially enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Bubbles”.

He was a member of the Parish of the Holy Apostles in the Church of St. Stephen of Hungary in Youngstown.

Dave left his beloved wife Janice L. Kinnick Crincic, whom he married on May 1, 1976 and with whom he was just celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary. two sons, Ryan E, Crincic from Youngstown and David Scott (Jennifer Gabet) Crincic from Sheffield Lake; two daughters, Rebecca A. (Christopher) Andes from Austintown and Sabrina L. (Anthony) Padula from Austintown; his father Joseph of Austintown; four grandchildren, Parker, Paige, Lucas, and Kaelyn; his sister Mary Helen (Dennis) Voytko from Poland; and many nieces and nephews.

His mother Helen died five years ago.

Family and friends are available to call at from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Friday May 7th Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where the funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m.

Please follow all health guidelines when you are with family or attending church services. If you are unable to personally show your respect, or if you feel uncomfortable doing so, please keep Dave and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Committal will follow the funeral services and be in Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
