TOLEDO, Ohio – Four people were injured in an accident in south Toledo on Tuesday evening.
The crash occurred at around 6:00 p.m. at the Hill Ave intersection. and Independence Road.
Officials said one SUV drove to the left of center and hit another car before hitting a third.
According to Toledo Police, one in four injuries was serious and another is considered life-threatening.
On the 911 call, a witness said the incident was unlike anything he has ever seen.
“It was like a bomb fell in the middle of the street. I could see a flying bumper from a window, so I said, ‘Let me call the police,’ the caller told the news agency.
“I’ve never seen anything like it. The engine is no longer maintained here. All three cars here are total write-offs,” he continued.
The names of the victims are not yet known.
