Surveillance video reveals suspect assault, rob man in Cincinnati’s Pendleton neighborhood

The Cincinnati police are seeking help in locating a suspect who attacked a man on the street and then robbed him before escaping the scene. The attack took place on April 14 at around 5 p.m. on the corner of Sycamore and 13 streets in Cincinnati’s Pendleton neighborhood. The surveillance video shows the suspect stepping behind a man and hitting him in the back of the head, causing him to fall to the ground. The suspect robbed the man and fled Ohio in a newer light blue Nissan Altima with tinted windows and a possible temporary license plate. According to the police, the victim suffered minor injuries. The suspect is a white man in his thirties who is referred to as 6 feet tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has darker hair and wore blue jeans, a long sleeved dark shirt, and gray, red and white trainers. Police said the victim was of Asian descent but there was no evidence that racing played a role in the incident, I believe the victim was attacked for other reasons. Pendleton Ice Cream Parlor, whose surveillance video recorded the attack, is offering $ 1,000 and free ice cream for the summer to anyone with information on the suspect’s arrest.
