OLY swimming Meghan Fleury has made an oral commitment to Cincinnati and changed its previous oral commitment to the State of Michigan the discontinuation of the MSU program. She is a senior at Adams High School in Rochester, Michigan.

Last weekend, Fleury took part in the 2020 Michigan HS Div. 2 championships that were postponed from November. At the meeting, she finished third in the 100 Free and 100 Back, her best placement in the 100 Free and her highest career end in the 100 Back.
Last season, then a newcomer Jaclyn Klimczak was the top backstroker of the Bearcats with 55.2 in the 100 and 1: 59.6 in the 200. Fleury would have been Cincinnati’s number 2 in both events behind Klimczak last year, and with her current bests she would have scored in B- . Finals in both at the 2020 AAC Championships.
Fleury joins them Maddy Hensler, Annabelle Young and Payton Baxter in Cincinnati’s class of 2025.
