CINCINNATI – Lots of people are talking about a possible reunion between Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. The Bengals have their fifth overall win and Chase is the top wide receiver in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The duo dominated college football in 2019 on their way to a perfect 15-0 record and national championship.
Could the Cincinnati Bengals bring in another key piece from this high-profile LSU crime with all eyes on a possible burrow chase reunion?
The The Washington Football Team released Thaddeus Moss on Friday. The 22-year-old signed with Washington as an unoccupied free agent in the last off-season. He spent his entire rookie campaign with one injured reserve.
Moss was a big part of LSU’s temporary onslaught – especially late in the 2019 season. He was on the receiving end of two of Burrow’s five touchdown passes against Clemson in the 2019 National Championship game. Moss finished with 47 receptions for 570 yards and four touchdowns the LSU.
Ultimately, he ended up in Washington “because they called first.”
Moss is the son of Famer Randy Moss’ Pro Football Hall.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Bengals running towards him again. Maybe Cincinnati will sign Moss, taking Chase with her fifth choice.
Reuniting Burrow with two key teammates from his college days wouldn’t be a bad idea, though Moss would have to fight for a spot on the squad.
It would join a tight end space that includes CJ Uzomah, Drew Sample, and Mason Schreck.
