TOLEDO, Ohio – This weekend is your chance to get a taste of Greece, go to some great arts festivals, or enjoy a couple of beer and bacon pairs. All you have to do is Go 419.

THURSDAY

Nashville Crush | Fulton County Fair | 19 o’clock

The fair season is drawing to a close, but the Fulton County Fair is still great fun! Aside from everything you love about a festival, you can also experience Nashville Crush with its perfect balance of country and rock.

All of this takes place on the south stage and the show is FREE with your trade fair entry.

2021 Toledo Pride in the drive-in theater | Sundance Kid Drive-in | 19 o’clock

Show your pride Thursday night at the Sundance Kid Drive-in with Toledo Pride. Come and enjoy the movies, live music, raffles, perks and even a car decoration contest!

Screen 1 shows “The Birdcage” and Screen 2 shows “RENT”.

Tickets are $ 10 per car, doors open at 6:30 PM, and the fun starts at 7:00 PM

FRIDAY

Taste of Greece | Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral | Every weekend

For the second year running, the Greek American Festival is reinterpreted as a drive-thru service known as the Taste of Greece. While you may not be able to attend the full festivities as you could before COVID-19, you will be enjoying the best part – namely the amazing food!

All your favorites are on the menu, including gyros, lamb shank, grape leaves, baklava, and more. The drive-thru is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is carried out according to the first-come-first-served principle.

Autumn open day at The Block | The shops in the Carson Block | 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Autumn is approaching and you can usher in the pumpkin and spice season with a little shopping spree. On Friday, head to the Fall Open House in Grand Rapids, Ohio on the Shoppes at Carson Block. There you can browse various housewares, clothing, and more. You can get a 15% discount when you sign up as a member of their rewards program.

At Grandma’s Pantry, don’t miss out on trying Grand Rapids’ famous apple butter and some other sweet treats.

Downtown Fremont Motor Show | Downtown Fremont | 17 o’clock

Friday night is the final car show of the season in Fremont. Car lovers, get out and about downtown and get up close and personal with all of these classic or cool cars.

Do you want to show your ride? You can pre-register by calling or texting 567-342-4758, or by sending an email marketing@d Bäumenfremontohio.org for your place. You will distribute stamp stickers for the first 150 participants and have at least 100 goodie bags ready for the participants.

Art Festival in the Black Swamp | Bowling green in the city center | Every weekend

If you want to fill your weekend with live music, art and, in general, just having a good time, then you should definitely head to the Black Swamp Arts Festival in downtown Bowling Green.

There’s a juried art show to watch, the chance to see artists at work, beer tastings and a beer garden, great live music every night, and much more.

SATURDAY

2021 Northwest Ohio Pierogi Party | Club 16 | 11 clock

This weekend you can take part in a two-day festival in honor of a Polish favorite – the Pierogi! Over in Holland at Club 16 you can enjoy this treat and everything Polish like a live polka band, Polish beer and more. At the weekend, you can enjoy some fun activities like a pierogi eating contest or browse the boutique shopping bazaar.

Anthony Wayne Art Festival | Whitehouse Village Park | 3 pm

Another major arts festival at 419, the Anthony Wayne Arts Festival, is held at the Whitehouse in Village Park. This is their FIRST festival, which hopefully turns into an annual event. This arts and music festival is mostly a festival of women musicians, with a huge line-up of various amazing and talented women in music.

2021 Toledo Beer and Bacon Festival | Hungarian Club of Toledo | 4 p.m.

When you bring two great things together … you get the Toledo Beer & Bacon Fest! This is Toledo’s ultimate beer festival with locally made beers paired with bacon.

Tickets are $ 30 for general admission and $ 45 for VIP and include 10 samples for general and VIP get 15 samples plus 5 meal tickets and a separate entry line. Live music will be played throughout the event.

Toledo night market | Toledo farmers market | 6pm – 11pm

Those who love farmers markets will love them even more with a little moonlight. Another Toledo Night Market is this Saturday night and you can experience this night market which is inspired by night markets from around the world. Come to eat, shop and enjoy!

SUNDAY

Finder Keeper VM | The Shoppes at Fallen Timbers | 10.00 a.m. – 4.00 p.m.

If you love all things fall love Finders Keepers is where you want to FIND yourself on Sunday. Finish your weekend shopping for a variety of handmade decorations, jewelry, trendy clothes, items for babies and more. While you are there, you can have lunch from one of the food trucks.
