Gold Star gives a huge amount back to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Gold Star started a fundraiser with Milkshakes for Children’s Sake Hospital. The program began in August 2019. A portion of every milkshake purchased at participating locations is donated directly to the hospital. Children’s Milkshake raised $ 10,837 for Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. The program is new, however Gold Star has worked with Cincinnati Children’s for over 20 years and has donated more than $ 300,000. The funds donated to Cincinnati Children’s will be used to “support clinical and research initiatives that have the greatest potential to rapidly impact pediatric medicine for children in Cincinnati and around the world,” stated Gold Star, “Milkshakes for children are an initiative that gives something back in a meaningful way. Cincinnati Children’s is one of the most respected children’s hospitals in the United States.
