CLEVELAND (WJW) – Showers and storms are leaving our southeastern areas, and the sunshine fills behind the rain. Expect a dry but muggy / warm evening as we wrap up our weekend with temperatures in the 70s.

However, there are still many pool days ahead of us. Hot and humid with heat indexes reaching the mid 90s during the day on Monday. The actual air temperature will be around 90 degrees for several days.

We’re going to be extending our previous five days at 90+ here in Cleveland this week this season.

Together with the heat and humidity there is a risk of rain, especially in the afternoon / early evening from Monday to Friday, Tuesday and Wednesday there can be occasional strong to severe storms.
