13-year-old arrested in Cincinnati for carrying stolen handgun, laser sight

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Police arrested a 13-year-old man on Thursday who was carrying two guns, one reported as stolen and the other with a laser sight.

Cincinnati Police Chief Eliot Isaac trumpeted the arrest Twitter Thursday afternoon.

District 5 officers with the violent criminal quad and ATF agents made the arrest.

A search warrant revealed two weapons and a 30-round magazine.

The Glock 48 has been reported stolen, Isaac says.

The Glock 19 came with a laser sight attached.

The 13-year-old has been charged with theft and possession of weapons while being disabled.

The gun confiscations come after a violent early summer in Cincinnati, inclusive several cases of gun violence among minors Victims and Suspects.
