FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Good thursday evening,

Today was another beautiful day with lots of sunshine and heights between the mid and late 80s. We will see partially cloudy skies again tonight, with the mid-1960s lows returning to normal.

We’re going to enjoy another fine and fairly dry day on Friday with highs in the upper 80s. Temps will stay in the upper 80s on Saturday, with some late-day pop-ups returning. We need the rain in the weather forecast, and while we won’t have great chance of rain in a day, at least we will have chances.

On Sunday you can expect an isolated pop-up late with highs in the upper 80s. The heat starts early next week with hot temperatures and humidity, with afternoon pop-ups with peaks in the lower 90s with heat index values in the mid 90s. We’ll see slightly hotter temperatures on Tuesday with highs in the lower 90s and late pop-ups.

I think our best chance of rain will be Wednesday and Thursday with highs close to 90 through the upper 80s. What will be interesting is that we will see a system pumping in more moisture to our east and a cold front slowly approaching from the west increasing the chances of rain and storms.

Hopefully most of us will get at least some rain by the end of the next 7 days. Days 6-7 (Wed-Thu) seem to have the best chance, not only for rain, but possibly also for heavier rainfall during storms.
