YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation is planning a full restoration of the marquee and facade of the historic Foster Theater on the south side of Youngstown.
While the building is structurally solid, the marquee and facade have fallen into disrepair, according to YNDC.

After restoration, the marquee will display inspirational messages while the future reuse of the building is planned and developed.
YNDC needs to raise $ 20,000 to fully restore the marquee and is seeking help from the community.
The funds will be used to rewire the marquee, install new energy efficient lights for the billboards and canopy, restore the neon accent lights, and purchase new lettering to display messages.
