COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – This week, the Columbus County’s Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is celebrating Small Business Week with the “Keep It ColumbUS” campaign.
The aim of the campaign is to encourage customers to support small and locally owned businesses. The Chamber has put one together List of local businesses Jennifer Holcomb, president of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, said when the pandemic started, more people started shopping locally and she hopes they will continue.
“Just to make sure people see the value of what we have here and the importance and importance of supporting them because if we don’t shop at home, if we don’t do our business at home, those deals will go away . They do so much for us and now it’s our turn to do something for them, ”said Jennifer Holcomb, President of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and Tourism.
The Columbus Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is partnering with NC Works to host a recruitment event on Tuesday, May 11, from 3pm to 7pm at Southeastern Community College. The event shows job vacancies that are currently available in the county.
