The driver informed police that he was picking up a teenage boy who asked for a stop at E. 102nd and Kingsbury Rd.

At that intersection, the victim said a second teenager approached the driver’s door and when that happened the first passenger pointed a gun at him.

The teenagers told him to get out of the vehicle.

When officers were taking the victim to his home, police discovered a vehicle that matched the description of the car the youths had stolen.

That led to a chase that eventually ended on the 3000 block on Ludlow Road.

The teenagers got out and ran on foot. They escaped.

Officers retrieved the car and found a 9mm replica in the car.
