TPD detective injured in Central Toledo

One of the investigators was slightly injured and taken to the hospital.

Toledo, Ohio – A Toledo Police detective was injured after a suspect hit her in a car while attempting to escape from a transportation stop in central Toledo on Saturday.

Det. Osting and debt. Bosik started a traffic outage in Detroit and Central around 10 p.m. when he saw a person throw a gun from a stopped car.

When a police officer tried to record the suspect Cleveland’s manual, Cleveland ignored the police officer’s instructions and got into his car.

Cleveland reversed the vehicle at high speed and attacked both Dets. Osting and debt. Boshiku. Cleveland also attacked police cars and caused functional damage.

The detective chased Cleveland until he lost control of Stickney Avenue, left the street, and ran into Paul.

Cleveland was arrested while being hospitalized with a minor knee injury.

Det. Osting was also taken to the hospital for minor treatment of his feet and feet. Det. Bosik was not injured.
