WILLIAM GALLAGHER Obituary (2021) – Toledo, OH

William Jordan Gallagher was born on March 5, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio. His adventurous spirit was nurtured by his mother, Mary Alice Parker Gallagher. They moved often and lived in Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and eventually Texas, where he attended San Marcos Academy and then Lamar High School in Houston. Bill visited UT-Austin where he promised to graduate from the Kappa Sigma fraternity with a degree in business administration.

He was a risk taker with a notoriously positive attitude. Bill founded many businesses including venture capital, computers and convenience stores, opened a winery, and simultaneously acquired and restored the Gruene mansion (which has not been inhabited for 60 years). developed a nutrition shake product, expanded a rotisserie restaurant chain, and started a chain of blues / grill restaurants with a range of retail barbecue sauces. Bill had recently started a new company that made a homeopathic nasal spray.

Bill (aka) SuperChicken had friends of all ages and walks of life and loved having fun, listening to music and dancing, especially Rammin ‘to Los # 3 Dinners.

Bill lived a truly adventurous life, never complaining, forgiving easily, and making the most of his time here on earth.

In front of him lie his mother, Mary Alice Parker Gallagher, and his stepfather, Eugene Francis Gallagher. He is survived by his son Benjamin Gallagher, his daughter Brook Rosser and his son-in-law Steves Rosser as well as his granddaughters Augusta and Isabel Rosser. He loved all of his friends
