The electric pickup maker received praise from former President Donald Trump and Ohio Governor Mike DeWine for buying the former General Motors plant in 2019 – producing or selling its endurance pickup. The company says it has “serious doubts” whether it can continue for another year. In the state legislature, Republican lawmakers want candidates for the Ohio Supreme Court to list their party affiliations, so they add them to the state budget.
