Toledo man arrested after SWAT crew responds to home violence name

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A 20-year-old man was arrested after SWAT and Toledo police units responded to domestic violence with a firearms call in western Toledo on Thursday evening.

Witnesses told officers that a man arrived at the location at Block 1300 of Slater with a gun and had an argument with a woman through a door. He went into the apartment and a fight was heard.

After the authorities were referred to the wrong home and forced into the wrong home, the authorities made their way to the correct home. After trying unsuccessfully to contact the inmates, they also forced access to this unit.

Contact was made with the residents of the apartment. Officials arrested Damien Bryson for burglary and gun possession.

No injuries were listed in the police report.
