FREMONT, Ohio – If your significant other always looks this glassy when it comes to Valentine’s Day plans, Ceramic perfection got something in Fremont that might blow your mind.
Two years ago, Paul and Joni Hasselbach decided to leave their careers behind and buy this art studio in downtown Fremont.
“She would come into the studio and paint to relax before she got home. And it just led to this next adventure in our lives, to be honest,” Paul said.
Now they own one of the few art studios in northwest Ohio that offers hand-painted ceramics, 3D wood art, hydro-diving, and more.
Once your painting is ready, Pottery Perfection will oven dry the art and ship it to your home within seven to 10 days.
Larger groups can call ahead to reserve enough space.
Pottery Perfection also hosts several special events with open registration Facebook site.
Although the coronavirus slowed the second year of operation, they found a way to hold out soldiers.
“We shut down for a while, we weren’t considered essential, so we took kits out and did it right on the curb,” Joni said.
Now they have a lot to offer their customers, including a ton of ceramics for Valentine’s Day.
On this weekend, from Friday, children can paint a two-part heart box with their fingerprints. On Saturday they are offering a $ 75 “Galentine’s Day” evening painting with dinner, and on Sunday couples can partake in painting their own wine and stone glassware.
Joni said the practical touch makes everything here a perfect gift for the vacation.
“Chocolate makes you fat and roses die, but ceramics lasts forever. It’s just fun for the whole family, so you can spend your Valentine’s Day here with the whole family or your loved one,” said Joni.
