YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (MyValleyTributes) – Louis “Stoogie” Hendrix, Jr., 69 of Brandywine Drive, Youngstown, Ohio, left this life at his residence on Friday, August 13, 2021.
August 1952 in Youngstown, Ohio, to Louis and Mary Dean Oree Hendrix, Sr.
Louis spent 30 years as a physical therapist with Omni Manor and Meridian Arms before retiring in December 2020.
He goes to mourn a daughter, Ms. Miranda Hendrix, of Alabama; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mamie Rudolph from Cleveland; three sisters, Ms. Beatrice Johnson of Campbell, Ms. Patricia Martin, and Ms. Mercie Hendrix, both from Youngstown, and a variety of nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death; three brothers, James Hendrix, Melvin Hendrix and Joseph Hendrix and three sisters, Mrs. Wanda Oakley, Mrs. Corrine Hendrix and Mrs. Dorrine Hendrix.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 12:00 p.m., with office hours from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Sterling-McCullough Williams Youngstown Chapel. There is a mask requirement and the distance rules are observed.
