ARCHER COUNTY (KFDX KJTL) – For the 41st time, the Scotland Sausage Festival will serve sausage to the community on Sunday.

People as far as Florida attended the event. But due to COVID, the Knights of Columbus will have to change their organization this year. The event will have a drive-through pickup.

This is the first time the Sausage Festival has had to have a drive through and the organizers are confident that the event will go as smoothly as it has in years past.

“We’re just tickled to death to have this and hopefully bring some normalcy back into some people’s lives because we do this once a year,” said Scottish resident Jerry Smith. “We have so many people who just love our sausage and come out for it every year, and we just wanted to follow all the rules of the state and make sure people are safe.”

There will be tents for those who take care of payments.

The meal is $ 12. You can also buy sausages to take home with you.

There will be fire engines and organizers to support direct traffic.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. until 14 O ‘clock
