After so many years of snub, the Cleveland Browns could have at least four players deserving their first All-Pro awards by 2021.
For so long Cleveland Browns Players were overlooked for seasonal awards. Not only have they been snubbed a lot of all-pro accolades, but they haven’t even been able to get boys into the Pro Bowl. I think if you regularly win 4-6 games a year, things like this will just happen.
Things are finally turning, as last year the Browns had two first-team all-pros in Myles Garrett and Jack Conklin and two second-team all-pros in Joe Bitonio and Wyatt Teller. Side note, an absolute travesty that Teller didn’t get elected to the first team even if he missed a few games.
With high expectations in 2021, the Browns could show another strong performance in the All-Pro teams and these four players could get their first awards.
No. 4 – Jadeveon Clowney
I know the last few years Jadeveon Clowney doesn’t have a great production. It’s crazy to think that a guy with his skills only has three sacks in the past two years.
Remember, you can’t just measure success in sacks. An elite defender, Clowney has been the # 1 option for the past two seasons, causing a lot of double teams and chips.
With Garrett getting a lot of attention towards him this year, one could see a breakout season like 2017 for Clowney. He will continue to dominate the running game and could end up with 10 plus sacks.
Having two all-pros on the defensive will be a huge challenge for the Cleveland Browns, but it is certainly achievable in 2021.
