TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – For the second time in six weeks, fire teams from the Toledo Fire and Rescue Department were dispatched to a fire in multiple vehicles at the Rada & Sons Autoparts facility in Detroit and Laskey.
According to local responders, the firefighters have been able to contain the fire on a pile of vehicles in the parking lot and are working to remove several cars for better access.
The call was first received by dispatchers at around 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, and rescue workers blocked several streets in the area to facilitate the operation.
A similar fire had already broken out at the same location in mid-April. No word yet on what might have caused the fire.
