Diocese of Youngstown workplace presents on-line studying programs

Participants can learn more or deepen their understanding of issues of faith and Catholic church practice.

YOUNGSTOWN – The Religious Education Office of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown provides online opportunities for adults who want to learn more or deepen their understanding of topics of faith and Catholic church practice.

Online winter courses include Finding Peace and Letting Go of Stress, directed by Nicky Uerling; “Elementary Catechesis”, led by Marcy Fessler; and “Holy Fire,” led by Maureen Hall. Other courses include “Practice Makes Catholic”, “Towards Sunrise”, “Practicing and Teaching the Beatitudes”, and “The Heart of Welcome”. During Lent, learners can also explore seasonal written courses.

Materials are provided and assignments are posted at the beginning of a specific week. The course fees vary depending on the material costs and the duration of the course.
