Relay for Life set for at present in Columbus


Season 25 for the Life of Columbus, Season 2021: A Silver Lining-Cloudy Days-Forecasting Hope, takes place today from 4pm to 9pm at Central Middle School, 725 Seventh St., Columbus.

Interested American Cancer Society donors and attendees can register online at The event is public.

The schedule is as follows:

  • 4 p.m .: Opening ceremony with Survivor Lap
  • 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm: activities and entertainment
  • 6:30 p.m .: Fight-back ceremony
  • 7 p.m .: Live auction
  • 8:30 p.m .: Luminaria ceremony
  • 9 p.m .: closing ceremony

Jackson County teams will be attending a Cloudy Days-Forecasting Hope drive-through display of Luminaria bags in the First Baptist Church parking lot at 505 Community Drive on September 11th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Honoring or attending in memory of loved ones. Seymour.

The names are read every hour on the hour: 6:00 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:00 am, 7:00 am, 8:00 pm, 8:30 pm, and 9:00 pm Visitors are asked to park before or after driving or walking to hear the names to be read.
