Public offices around Columbus are officially returning to a normal Tuesday after 16 months of COVID restrictions.
Ohio health missions ended last month, and now that city workers are returning from the holiday weekend, they will greet the public at facilities in the Columbus area.
The Columbus City Hall, fire stations and community centers, among other things, are fully open to the public again.
Masks are still needed at Columbus Public Health as it is a health facility, and officials encourage all visitors, vaccinated or not, to mask to protect others in the building who may not be vaccinated.
Although city offices are back to normal operations, they are retaining some procedures from the pandemic, such as access to hand sanitizer, staggered shifts, and HVAC upgrades.
