The controller’s office implements an improved and updated method for employees to report working hours.
The new electronic system will replace paper absence reports, overtime, or time cards currently used by Communications Workers of America (CWA), the University of Toledo Police Patrolman’s Association (UTPPA), and tax-exempt hourly workers.
From Saturday, October 2nd, hourly employees will clock in and out of their working day electronically via a computer or one of the wiping clocks on the entire main campus.
“The new time clock process is part of our ongoing drive to automate and improve efficiency in our operations,” said UToledo Controller Patricia Peterson.
More information on training courses will follow shortly so that employees and supervisors can familiarize themselves with the new process.
