Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson will get vaccinated for COVID-19

CLEVELAND (WJW) – Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson received his first dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine Saturday, the city reported.

At 74, Jackson is in the age group currently eligible for vaccination in Ohio. He was shot dead in the Zelma George Neighborhood Resource & Recreation Center on the east side. Ohioans over 65 can start vaccinating next week as the rollout continues.

As the FOX 8 I-Team reported a a few weeks earlier Cleveland lagged behind other cities with its initial COVID-19 shot distribution.
