Cleveland APL providing low cost on canine adoptions for Father’s Day

CLEVELAND – This Father’s Day weekend, the Cleveland APL is offering a discount on adult dog adoption.

Any dog over 5 months old can be adopted for $ 50. The normal dog adoption fees are $ 125. There is an additional fee for a Cuyahoga County Dog Driver License.

The Cleveland APL Pet of the Weekend is Ian, a three and a half year old pit bull mix who has been with the APL since November 2020.

“Ian is one of our longest serving residents and has been here since November 2020. He has improved a lot over the course of his stay thanks to the great foster family who worked with him. Ian came as a scared, closed, dog who was never socialized or who Had a chance to be a dog, “said the APL. “With a lot of patience and biscuits, Ian has come to appreciate the attention he gets from his foster family. He enjoys the company of their house cat and gets along well with other calm dogs. Ian has the cutest little ‘blip’ tongue that constantly stands out, which makes him even more lovable. “

Ian needs a quiet home and a family willing to slowly get him used to a new environment.

“Ian is more than keen to settle in a place he can call his own,” said the APL.
