Apartment Guide has ranked Cincinnati as one of the 10 best cities to work from home
After almost a year of working from home due to the coronavirus pandemic, many people have chosen to work remotely for the long term. Apartment Guide said not all cities are created equal for those who work from home in apartments.
“Residents have unique challenges such as space, noise, comfort and infrastructure. And some cities are better suited to this environment.” Apartment Guide said.
So it set out to rate the best cities for it.
The ranking was based on the rent and the area of the average two-bedroom apartment in each city. Costs for an average family cell phone tariff; and the fastest internet speeds on the fastest network operator.
Cincinnati came in second just behind Chandler, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix.
“Queen City is the second best city – and the best in the Midwest – for work from home. Located on the Ohio River across from Kentucky, Cincinnati is a modern and diverse cultural city,” said Apartment Guide.
Our friends up north in Columbus came in at number 10 on the list.
“The underrated Columbus is a hidden gem and the largest city in our 10 best cities to work from home. It’s a trendy business and entertainment city with a booming nightlife. And Columbus itself is booming too,” said Apartment Guide.
