COLUMBUS, miss. (WTVA) – Two people died and a third suffered a gunshot wound after a shooting Wednesday night in Columbus.
Police Chief Fred Shelton said it happened on the 100 block on Poplar Street, which is on the east side of the city just off Alabama Street.
Filming apparently took place around 9 p.m.
According to the chief, the shooting was triggered by a domestic dispute.
One person died where the shooting took place. The other person died at the Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle.
Officers have not yet made arrests.
