COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – The Greater Columbus Arts Council has canceled the 2021 Columbus Arts Festival due to ongoing public health concerns from COVID-19.

“As much as we are desperate to celebrate our return to gatherings this year, we recognize that we must put the health and safety of our patrons, artists, artists, vendors and sponsors first,” said Tom Katzenmeyer, President and CEO of the Arts Advice.

However, the return of the festival in 2022 is planned. The organizers say it will take place in the arena district from June 10th to June 12th.

This is the fourth location that the festival has occupied in its 60 year history.
