Rufus Hudson passed away on Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A former Youngstown councilor – and a longtime Youngstown community activist – has died.
Rufus Hudson passed away on Saturday.
Hudson served on Youngstown City Council for eight years from 2000 to 2007. He represented the 2nd community, the East Side.
Most recently he worked for the city in the Community Development Agency. He also taught at East High School for a while.
“Rufus was definitely a great community activist. He will really be missed, “said Tito Brown, Mayor of Youngstown.” I had great respect for him and learned a lot from him when he was a councilor. ”
No funeral preparations were made.
Hudson was 64 years old.
