COLUMBUS, Georgia (WRBL) – The Columbus Police Department arrested a woman earlier this month who was wanted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run.
Brittany Latten, 27, was arrested on July 16, 2021 in connection with the death of Sean Montgomery.
Montgomery, 57, died in a traffic accident on Columbus on July 8th.
GSP investigates false crash on I-16
Police said Montgomery was driving a moped when he was hit by another vehicle, resulting in his death.
The day after the crash, an arrest warrant was issued against Latten.
Latten was charged with the crime of first-degree vehicle homicide and the offense of driving without a license.
