CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Orchestra’s 2021 Blossom Music Festival kicks off July 3rd and 4th with two concerts over the holiday weekend, both with fireworks. It is the first time since March 2020 that the orchestra has performed in front of a live audience.
The ensemble is under the direction of conductor Brett Mitchell, with Michelle Cann as a guest at the piano. The concerts will be festive and Christmassy, with works by Bernstein, Copland, Tchaikovsky, Sousa and others.
Season tickets for $ 80 to $ 426 and custom lawn and pavilion tickets for $ 25 to $ 121 are available now. 2020 Lawn Ticket Books will be valid in 2021 and the Under 18 Free Policy will remain in place.

Police Deranged for Orchestra with Police drummer Stewart Copeland. An orchestral overview of Copeland’s career and, in particular, his many years with The Police, one of the most popular rock bands of all time. Copeland will play drums and three singers – Laurhan Beato, Carmel Helene and Ashley Tamar – will join the orchestra for an energetic celebration of hits like “Roxanne”, “Message in a Bottle” and “Don’t Stand” So Close To Me . “Rusty Anderson will play guitar and Edwin Outwater will conduct.
