YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A small business fair was held at Prepped Wellness in Youngstown on Friday. A saleswoman says she started her business during COVID.
She started making elderberry syrup, a dietary supplement.
Owner Carly Gable noted that people are paying more attention to their health.

“My mother has been using elderberry syrup for 10 years. It was her idea to start selling to friends and family and it just went off, ”said Gable. “Many people focus on their health and do what they can to keep themselves and their families healthy.”
The organizers say they wanted to hold this exhibition to help other local small businesses.
The owners of Prepped Wellness say they have only been in this field for a few months. This was their first event there.
