YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Originally from Youngstown and current, Cleveland Brown Troy Hill was back in Mahoning Valley on Saturday afternoon hosting Troy Hill Day at the Youngstown Boys and Girls Club.

The event was put together by Hill’s Foundation, the Star Players Academy.

The children in attendance participated in fun activities and had the opportunity to get to know Hill. With his event, Hill wants to have a positive impact on the community.

Communities help clean up the whole valley

“It will bet bigger and bigger. That’s the plan, ”said Hill. “I just understand the impact I can have on the community in terms of youth and things. I’m just trying to have a positive outlook. It’s all about positivity and helping kids believe in themselves and see that they too can do it and things like that. “

Many on Troy Hill Day were colored brown and orange. Hill was overjoyed to see the community show support for him and his new team.

“Come on let us go!” Shouted Hill. “That’s how I felt deep inside. I am excited about it. Hopefully they’ll let the fans into the stadium so that when I look up I can see everyone out there with their shirts on. It will be fun.”
