Ohio Division II
Grace Courtney, Wyoming
Wyoming Junior Grace Courtney became the first female Greater Cincinnati State Champion in 2021 when she claimed the Division II diving crown at the tournament’s first event on Wednesday afternoon.
Courtney led the majority of the event, but dropped to third in the later rounds before skipping Chagrin Falls senior Kate ChMonica to first place in the final two rounds.
Courtney, who was runner-up in Division II last season, finished the race with 485.80 to 445.35 from LaMonica.
