COLUMBUS, Ohio – Two men accused Gunfire in a mall in Columbus in early March were taken into custody after both were found in Georgia.
Anthony Truss, 21, of Columbus, was arrested by federal agents last week in Covington, Georgia, according to the US Marshals Service. Levon Sommerville, 25, of Columbus was arrested Monday in Tucker, Ga.
Police say the two men opened fire on each other at Polaris Fashion Place on March 3 and forced the mall to be evacuated.
The two suspects in the shooting left the area before officers arrived. Police say footage shows a man firing multiple shots at another man in a Carter store that sells clothes for children. The first shooter left the store and the other person being shot followed him and fired multiple shots at the previous shooter, police said. No injuries were reported.
Sommerville and Truss were both charged with assault.
