COLUMBUS, Ohio – A new sculpture inspired by Martin Luther King Jr. was unveiled in Columbus on Monday.

The sculpture is located in Washington Gladden Social Justice Park on East Broad Street and Cleveland Avenue.

The design for the artwork, entitled “Our Single Garment of Destiny” was created by Dr. King’s Letter from a Birmingham Jail, published in 1963.

He wrote the letter while in prison after participating in non-violent protests against segregation.
