CLEVELAND, Ohio – A man told a cashier he would shoot his head in a robbery of a PNC bank branch in the Cudell neighborhood on the west side, authorities say.
According to the FBI in Cleveland, the suspect entered PNC Bank at 10900 Lorain Ave at around 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday. and waited in line to see a cashier. As the man approached the cashier, he said, “Don’t give me bait or packs of dye or I’ll shoot your head off, hurry up and give me the money.”
No weapon was observed and there were no injuries. The suspect escaped with an unknown amount of money. Bank employees ran outside after the robbery and saw the suspect running west towards West 117th Street.
The suspect is about 6 feet tall and slender and weighs 140 to 150 pounds. He had white / dirty blonde hair and was probably in his late 40s or early 50s. He wore a camouflage shirt with orange letters, a white surgical mask and light blue jeans.
PNC is offering a $ 5,000 reward for information that leads to the successful identification and pursuit of the suspect. Tips can remain anonymous and can be shared with the Cleveland Division of the FBI, the Cleveland Division of Police, or CrimeStoppers.
