COLUMBUS (WCMH) – A man drove himself to the hospital after being shot in the upper body on Saturday afternoon in southwest Columbus, police said.
According to Columbus Police, the 29-year-old man was in his vehicle on the 4,600 block of Tamarack Boulevard at around 12:39 p.m. when he was shot dead.
When police arrived at the scene, they could not find the victim. When the officers were investigating the site, the victim was taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound in the upper body.

Police said the victim was in his vehicle when a group of people approached his car. An argument broke out and one of the people pulled a gun and shot the victim, police said.
The victim is in a stable condition.
