TOLEDO, Ohio – Detroit-based Bobcat Bonnie’s restaurant, which was planning to open a location in downtown Toledo by August, says those plans have been put on hold.
Owner Matt Buskard tells WTOL 11 that the global slowdown in building materials has postponed the opening for a few weeks.
Bobcat Bonnie’s has been operating from a location in the newly renovated Fort Industry Square in the downtown warehouse district.
The restaurant will occupy the main level of the building with a bar and an arcade in the basement.
Buskard hopes the restaurant can open in late September or early October.
The Solheim Cup takes place in the last week of August and the first week of September.
