Chef Rocco Whalen plans to move Fahrenheit from his longtime home in Cleveland’s Tremont neighborhood to the central business district of downtown Cleveland.
Crain’s Cleveland Business filled the past vacated by the closure of John Q’s Steakhouse in mid-2013, reporting that Whalen recently signed a lease for the space at the foot of 55 Public Square that is currently undergoing a $ 80 million renovation Dollar is subjected.

The new space will be three times the size of Fahrenheit’s location at 2417 Professor Ave. in Cleveland’s Tremont district, with 12,324 square meters, two floors, a roof terrace and a large terrace overlooking Public Square. Event areas and enough space for 120 guests or 200 standing places are planned.
Construction work is to begin in the fall and is ready for opening at the end of 2022 to the beginning of 2023. Fahrenheit’s current Tremont location could be upgraded to a new concept, Crain reported.
