TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Chevy’s Place in downtown Toledo is the newest bar to be cited for alleged violating the Ohio state’s COVID-19 health ordinance.

Ohio Investigative Unit agents said they observed more than 100 people standing close together, drinking, and not wearing masks at around 12:10 a.m. on Saturday night.

The agents also monitor the security at the door so that users can enter without checking the capacity of the approval rooms. The bar owners were charged with inappropriate behavior. As early as October, agents had cited alcohol permit holders for a similar violation. The case is being tried by the Ohio Liquor Control Commission for a hearing and possible penalties.
