COLUMBUS, Ind. – A 20-year-old Columbus man on charges of sexual exploitation and child pornography after he was arrested after an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the FBI’s Indianapolis branch said Monday.
The FBI and Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jordan Blake Fields on March 25th. He has been charged with sexual exploitation, attempted sexual exploitation of a child, and distributing and receiving child pornography.
The federal complaint alleges that Fields sexually exploited three minor victims between March 1 and July 29, 2020, by “using or attempting to use any minor to visualize Minor Victims 1 and 2 to create sexually explicit behavior using materials that are in international or international trade. “
The complaint also alleges that between March 1 and November 13, 2020, Fields “knowingly distributed visual representations of a minor who was sexually explicit, including on a computer”.
Fields’ known victims were in Brown and Bartholomew Counties, but authorities say there may be more victims. Law enforcement is soliciting anyone who has a child who may have interacted with Fields and who believes that those interactions may have been sexually inappropriate, or an attempt to “groom” the child for future sexual interactions, contact the FBI at number Call 317-595-4000.
Fields is currently under the care of the US Marshal Service.
The FBI says an investigation is ongoing into Fields.
