WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA – Sihrahn Major, II, of Columbus, Ohio, has admitted his role in a drug trafficking conspiracy, U.S. Attorney Randolph J. Bernard said.
Major, also known as “Black”, aged 25, pleaded guilty to charges of “distributing 5 grams or more of methamphetamine within 300 meters of a protected location”. Major admitted selling five grams or more of methamphetamine near the Riverview Towers in Wheeling in January 2020.
Major face a minimum of five and up to 80 years in prison and a fine of up to $ 10,000,000. According to the Federal Constitutional Guidelines, the penalty actually imposed depends on the seriousness of the criminal offense and, if applicable, the criminal record of the accused.
US assistant attorneys Shawn M. Adkins and Clayton J. Reid are pursuing the case on behalf of the government. The Ohio Valley Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative that includes the Drug Enforcement Administration, West Virginia State Police, Ohio County Sheriff’s Office, and the Wheeling Police Department, is investigating. The US Marshal Service, the Columbus Police Department’s Gang Crimes Unit, the Martins Ferry Police Department, and the Bellaire Police Department also helped.
US Judge James P. Mazzone chaired the meeting.
