Temperatures will drop rapidly, dropping into the 1930s by 9 or 10 p.m. Expect a quick change from rain to snow between 9pm and 11pm, with snow for many until midnight. It can snow heavily at times, but at temperatures above freezing, grassy areas and raised surfaces are preserved. A muddy inch is possible, possibly a little closer to Interstate 70. The roads stay wet, but some bridges and highways may have a brief coating before they quickly melt. The lows on Wednesday morning are almost freezing. Wednesday in April is very cool, with highs in the mid to mid 40s, cold breezes, and persistent rain showers that may be mixed with some snowflakes. The sky will clear on Wednesday evening and frost is expected. Around 30 p.m. the sunshine will return on Thursday and Friday. The highs will be in the low 50s on Thursday, then at 60 a.m. on Friday. Saturday looks wet again!
