Cincinnati Ties Toledo in Dwelling Opener

CINCINNATI – The Bearcats football team dominated on offense but a few too many close calls were enough for Toledo to leave town in a 1-1 draw on a hot Sunday afternoon. UC moved to 1-0-1 while Toledo went to 0-0-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Toledo first scored in the 50th minute when Ashton Cassel snuck through the defenders to hit the top right corner with his left foot. The Rockets had held the ball at halftime for much of the preceding minutes.
